The State of Alabama }
DeKalb County           }
Personally appeared before me the under signed an acting Justice of the Peace for said county Jane Cooper, and declare an oath that she is the widow of Isaac Cooper Decd who was a member of Capt Fultons Company of Georgia Mounted volunteers in Mexico that she is the Identical Jane Cooper who drew a pension of five years half pay as said widow that she has not since intermarried but continues the widow of the said Isaac Cooper that she now resides in the county of DeKalb and state of Alabama where she has resided for some years past and that this Declaration is made to obtain a renewal of Pension under the act of Congress of 3rd February 1853.

and I do hereby certify that I have no interest in and am not concerned in the prosecution of this case

F Cook and Robert M Cook who make oath in due form of Law that they are personally acquainted with Jane Cooper widow of the late Isaac Cooper Decd that she yet remains the widow of the said Isaac Cooper that she is the Identical Jane Cooper who drew a Pension of five years half pay as said widow and now makes the accompanying Declaration to obtain a renewal of Pension under the act of 3rd of February 1853 and that they reside in the county of De Kalb and State of Alabama

I, Reuben Estes Judge of the probate court of the County and State aforesaid do hereby certify that Seabird Cowan is a justice of the peace in and for the County duly Commissiond and qualified that his Commission was dated on the first monday in March 1853 and will Expire on the first monday in March 1856 or sosoone there after as there successer shall have been duly qualified and that the signature above written are Genuine
