Robert Langston, Grandson of Robert Perry (1908 mention)

Robert Langston, little son of Mrs. W. N. Langston, and grandson of Robert Perry, is mentioned in this 1908 "Personal Mention" in the "Society" column of The Dalton Citizen (indexed as North Georgia Citizen).

"Mrs. W. N. Langston and little son, Robert, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perry.--Macon News."

It is likely that this little boy died later that year, if he is the same person buried near the parents at Forest Lawn in Chattanooga.

His parents are known to be: William Nathan Langston and wife, Nancy Mae Perry. Nancy was the daughter of Robert Perry, a prominent citizen of Dalton, Whitfield, Georgia. William "Nathan" was the son of Edward Langston, of Bradley County, Tennessee. The father, William Nathan Langston, died in July 1912 in Jacksonville, Florida, and was brought back to Chattanooga for burial at Forest Lawn. His widow lived in Dalton for many years after his death. She died in Whitfield County, Georgia, on 21 April 1946, and is buried at Forest Lawn, also.
