Smith Oyler and Irby Edwards Duel

Article about a duel between Smith Oyler and Ruby Edwards, of Fort Payne Alabama, from The Chattanooga News, 1920:

"Fort Payne, Ala., Feb. 9.—Policeman, Smith Oyler who shot and killed Irby Edwards in a midnight duel recently, had his preliminary trial Saturday and was placed under a $500 bond to await action by the grand jury."
