Lizzabel Saxon of Cartersville Wins Medal

Lizzabel Saxon, of Cartersville, received the medal for best declamation among the girls in the first State Declamation Exercise given by the Georgia Declamation Association. The contest took place Saturday at Southern Female College in College Park. Thirty-five local students and three chaperones, including R. L. Saxon, father of the local contestant, traveled from Cartersville to attend the exercise.
