Sophia Trumpy and Joseph Hoesli: Rock Island, Illinois

Research notes on a Sophia (Trumpy) Hoesli, of Rock Island, Illinois. She turned out to be a different person than the elusive Sophia (Trumpy) Moreau I was hunting, also born in Switzerland and also of Illinois, later of Tennessee. There's no chance of a mixup--this is definitely a different individual. Her records are consistent over a period of decades.
