Georgia: The Dade County Sentinel has some references to a Mrs. Wigley, who lived on Sand Mountain and died in 1895. She had a son named Thomas Cumming, who probably lived near Trenton, Dade County, Georgia.
C.W. soldier's grave near Mrs. Wigley's on Sand Mountain. Mrs. Wigley's home is mentioned as a place on Sand Mountain [Alabama], six miles west of Trenton (Dade, Georgia). The article is an old 1891 fundraising effort to raise money to erect a tombstone over the grave of a Confederate soldier, Charley Henson, whose grave lies near the home of Mrs. Wigley, on Sand Mountain, 'six miles west of here' (that is, west of Trenton, Dade, Georgia).

Death of Mrs. Wigley, 1895
[Source]: Mention of Mrs. Wigley's death at her home on Sand Mountain, in 'Brevities,' State of Dade News; it says she was the mother of Thomas Cumming. (Trenton, Dade, Georgia) 1891-1901, Friday, 10 May 1895, page 3 (digital image 3), Georgia Historic Newspapers, Digital Library of Georgia (Gallileo); accessed 27 Feb. 2020.
I was unable to identify the people. Since the surnames don't match, it could mean there is a step-relationship between mother and son, or it could be the mother was a Mrs. Cumming, who later remarried. (These are just two possibilities). In old sources, they'll even leave off "in-law," so she could even be Thomas's mother-in-law instead of his mother.
All we really know is that Mrs. Wigley lived on Sand Mountain, lived near a Confederate soldier's grave, and died herself in 1895.
