"The friends in this community of Mrs. E. W. Sanders will regret to learn of her death, which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. R. Slaughter, at Palestine, Tex., a few days ago, after an illness of only seven days. Mrs. Sanders was a sister of the late Mr. A. M. Franklin and was 79 years of age."
[External Research: Deceased had been a long-time resident of Bartow County, Georgia; it is not stated whether she had been living with her daughter in Texas for very long at the time of her death.]
