Fold3 Image - Headrick, sons of Mary (Moses) Headrick and Peter Headrick: Jacob, born the 1st day of Sept 1858; Samuel, born the 20th day of February 1861.

These were clipped from the Affidavit in the Widow's Claim of Mary J. (Moses) Headrick, of Blount County, Tennessee, from the Application for Widow's Pension on Service of the soldier, her husband, Peter Headrick (Private, Co. I, 5th Tennessee Infantry, USA; died 14 May 1864 in the Battle of Resaca. (Reference: Resaca, Gordon Co., Georgia). The couple had married on 27 November 1854, in Blount County, Tennessee. This document records the marriage of the soldier and his wife, the births of two children, and the soldiers death. Images at Fold 3.
