Search for Thomas Merrill Calloway and wife, Mary Warthen Calloway, who received a deed of gift of land in Murray County, Georgia, from Thomas's uncle, James H. Calloway (apparently of) Fulton County, Georgia. (28 January 1876, Deed Book N, pages 79-80, Murray County Georgia, Superior Court records):
Apparently, "Warthen" is not Mary's maiden name, but is her middle name. Family research shows that "Warthen" was her mother's maiden surname.
Thomas M. Calloway married Mary W. Long, 31 Jan 1864, Randolph County, Georgia. (Family researchers, unspecified, have stated that the marriage occurred in Cuthbert, Georgia, which is in Randolph County).
Documentation of the names, date, county and state of marriage: "Georgia, County Marriages, 1785-1950," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KXJP-KZF : 18 July 2016), Thomas M. Calloway and Mary W. Long, 31 Jan 1864; citing Marriage, Randolph, Georgia, United States, county courthouses, Georgia; FHL microfilm 271,260.
