Indenture made and entered into this twentieth day of May, in the year of our
Lord, Eighteen hundred and fifty one, between James Edmondson of the one part,
& Jacob Hedrick of the other part, both of the state and County above
written: Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
and sixty dollars, to him in hand paid by the said Jacob Hedrick, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold and conveyed, and do by
these presents, covenant, release, transfer and convey unto the said Jacob his
heirs & assigns, all and singular, the rights, titles & Heriditaments
to lot of land, lying and being in the County of Murray and state aforesaid,
and in the tenth district and third section, known and distinguished in the
plan of said district, by the number eighty eight (88), the same containing by
estimate one hundred and sixty acres of land, more or less; to have and to
hold, the above described premises, with all and singular, the rights, titles
and appurtenances thereunto belonging, which I do by these presents warrant and
defend the titles to the above described premises, to the said Jacob Hedrick
his heirs and assigns forever, in fee simple, and from myself, my heirs and assigns,
and from and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever. In
consideration whereof I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed my seal, the day
& year first above written.

signed the same, as a witness, and saw Thomas C. Henry do like wise. Sworn
